Madie's 2nd Birthday!!

Today is our sweet & precious pups 2nd birthday. You see daniel and i are horrible owners because it was not until 5:00pm tonight that daniel came busting into the bathroom yelling we forgot a really important day. I was thinking to myself...what?? what did we forget? My pregnancy brain is not helping either. It's so crazy because i use to remember things so well, but ever since we found out we were pregnant, I can't seem to remember why I called someone on the phone or why i even walked in the next room. Anyways, to make it up to Madie we got her a cupcake (and donuts) to celebrate! Here are a few pictures...
her yummy cupcake!
this is when Madie freaked out that there was fire on her cake.

And this last one is the best...she loved it!!
So here is to another fun filled year with our outgoing, loving, affectionate, crazy, likes to lick people dog :).

9 weeks

I am going to do my best to keep up with my growing belly. I have had many of you ask already that are out of state if I could post pictures each week. Right now my belly is non-existent (meaning you can't tell I am preggo), but i thought to go ahead and start so that when I am much bigger I can look back at how much our baby has grown. As soon as we found out I was pregnant, we began taking pictures weekly but really i look the same in all of them so i won't bore you with those. Like I said I am going to do my best each week to update these. I have heard I won't start showing for a few more weeks or so but we shall see. So i leave you with my 9 weeks picture.

until next time...

answers...

to YOUR questions. I have been asked a series of questions over the past few days that I thought I would just answer on here for those who did ask, and for those who are wondering.

1. How are you feeling? (the number one most asked question) I hate to even tell you how I am feeling because honestly I have 6 friends right now that are pregnant and 5 of the 6 of them were sick...and some VERY sick. But to just get it out there...I feel great! I have been told by the nurses & other fellow mom's to be thankful i feel the way i do! I just paniced because i wasn't feeling bad. I should count it as a blessing i know! I don't even feel pregnant most days. I continue to do my normal workout routine...but of course i am eating more! haha.

2. Do you want a boy or girl? (the second most asked question) We want a healthy baby no matter boy or girl. We would be perfectly happy with either.

3. What are your baby names? Quit frankly...we haven't a clue! we still have a while till we have to decide that so no rush. We have just been throwing names around when they come to us..but nothing is definite!

4. Are you finding out if it is a girl or boy, and if so when? Yes & in 9 weeks so at the end of March beginning of April.

lets see...those are the big 4 right now but if you have any more then just ask! :)

Oh BABY!

God is just so full of surprises because...We are having a baby!! We have known for a little while now but wanted to wait and share it with the world until after we went to the doctor. We actually found out a couple of days before Christmas and shared the surprising news with our families Christmas morning! Now you all know my reason for the lack of blogging! So the secret is out and it's so crazy!!
I will be 9 weeks on Tuesday and we are due September 1st!!! :) We went to the doctor on Friday and saw our baby for the first time. His or Her arm & leg buds were moving all about and the heart was beating so fast. The doctor said both Mommy & Baby are healthy and look good, which was so good to hear and we continue to pray for this throughout the whole pregnancy! It was so exciting to see the baby & i have to admit...i did cry because it was such a special moment for Daniel and I. Above is a picture of our little one!
**For those who are wondering and have asked, we are still going to France but will be a bit delayed so the baby can be born here in the states and we can raise the additional support needed!

God is so Good

Support raising is hard. No one said it would be easy and honestly most day's I am glad because God is teaching both Daniel and I patience. We have been praying for God to do something with our support raising..like bringing more monthly supporters. Well little did we know that He was stirring in a great man's heart to support our ministry in a unique way. We are really excited and want you to read more about what God has laid on the heart of this particular individual. click here to read more.
have a great night!
