i ran to walgreens and cvs today because i had a little extra time & FINALLY have my coupons organized to where i don't have to spend hours looking for the best deal :) here is what i got!
so i noticed the other day you bought 4 bottles of shampoo, then on this new post, you bought like 6 bottles. Why so much?? Do you have to in order to get the deals you need? I understand saving money. but if you have to buy stuff that you don't need then it's like wasting money.
well what i have learned is that no i don't "need" shampoo right now, but it is about stocking up on things while they are on sale (i will eventually use them). when you buy them on sale, then your of course not paying full price and you get the best deal on them. typically what i have learned is that things go on sale 6 to 8 weeks at a time. meaning if toilet paper is on sale right now, then it will be on sale again in 6 to 8 weeks. also wouldn't you want to pay $3.99 for a pack of diapers that is originally priced $12.99? your going to use it at some point in time. why not get the best bang for your buck...spend your money wisely. make sense??
oh and most of that body wash i got was free :) when you buy one body wash at $5.49, your get back $5.49 on your next purchase.
I agree with you about stocking up on shampoo, toothpaste, etc while it's on sale. I use to do a weekly trip to CVS and use my coupons & ECB bucks! To begin with you do not save that much money until you start cutting coupons and using your ECB bucks. I haven't had time lately, but I'm about to start back shopping at CVS. We will have to keep each other updated on our weekly deals, haha!
