Last week we celebrated my Dad's birthday! We have this "tradition" in our family that when it's your birthday, you get to choose where you want to go to eat. Well of all the places my Dad could have choose...we he choose Chick-fil-a! We had a great time :D

Daniel and I have started a tradition this year...building a Nativity gingerbread house. We had so much fun constructing it :)

special day...

Today is a very special day! WHY you might ask? Well today is the birthday of the first man I ever loved! He has been there for me my whole life and has encouraged & loved me every step of the way! He has the precious name...Dad (which use to be Daddy, and yes sometimes I still call him that :D) He is very dear to my heart! SO here's to the best Dad in the world...my dad. HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D

tis the season...

That's right!  Christmas will be here in 21 days and the davises (that's us in case you didn't know) have begun preparing for the birth of our Lord & Savior.  Our tree is up...no it is not big but we have one and it is perfect for our lil place!
Madie is also getting into the spirit of this wonderful season...although not really by choice :D
Also today we got around to taking our Christmas card picture...here are a few shots that..well...didn't make the cut.




After 3 rounds of pictures (thanks to my sweet & very patient MIL) we got our Christmas picture! Here it is...
