weekend of fun!'s been a very busy, but enjoyable weekend for Daniel and I.  It all began Friday morning when we took Madie hiking.

one of her favorite things...feeling the wind blow

she's pretty tough to hike with!

sticking her tongue out...haha

After a long day, we went back to the house & cleaned up for a DELICIOUS dinner cooked by my in-laws

grilled onions (my favorite) & burgers

daniel and i being patriotic

Daniel, Andrew, Mrs. Davis & Mr. Davis

the best attempt at a photo with Madie

Once dinner was over, we hopped in the car and headed over to Soho Square to watch the fireworks with my family.

Uncle Bobby, Ms Martha (my grandma), me, Mom, & Dad

Daniel+ the rest of us!

Then on Saturday morning we headed to the theme/water park with Mr. & Mrs. Davis, Andrew & Jen-Yu.  To see more photo's of our park adventure click here.

This is Daniel going down the big slide

...and this is me!

too much fun on the tubes :)

we love roller coasters!

i love Jen-Yu's face in this one

Finally last night we had another date night at Brio (a sweet friend gave us a gift card).  I had a delightful salad with grilled chicken, and daniel enjoyed a 14 oz new york strip steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus...

what was left of Daniel's steak

and of course my cup of coffee :)

well we're pooped and have spent most of the day relaxing!  we had a blast with all our adventures, and really enjoyed spending time with family.
This week we are house sitting for my sweet friend that I spoke of before.
Hope each of you had a good 4th!
until I write again....
