where to begin...

I know its been a while since I have blogged.  This is due to several reasons some that I won't mention, but one of the main reason's is because Daniel & I have been glued to the TV watching this captivating show:
We are on Season 2 already and I must say as weird and sometimes scary the show is, there is something so intriguing about it that we can't stop watching!  So there it is...that is my excuse.
God has been so good to Daniel and I, and honestly continues to surprise us daily.  This week He provided support from a very unusual place.  Let me explain.  A while back Daniel and I were trying to sell our kitchen table to some friends.  We thought for sure they would buy it since they had the matching chairs.  Well it turned out they didn't buy it.  We were bummed at first, but then we got the idea of putting it on craigslist.  I kid you not, we put the table up and within an hour or so we had interested buyers.  Within 2 hours we had it sold!  We were pretty amazed...I promise this is relevant just let me babble for a moment :)  So since this girl (the buyer) could not pick up the table that night and since she wasn't far, we decided to deliver the table to her.  Upon delivery, I got to chat with her some (because my sweet husband and father-in-law set up the table at her place.)  I gave her our business card that night (not really thinking she would look at it after I left).  Boy was I wrong.  Fast forward to this past Monday...As I peered into my mailbox at work, low and behold a check for support was found.  Who was this was my first thought...Her name wasn't registering.  Then all the sudden as I sat in my chair at work it clicked.  Wow...Lord you choose to use her...then I thought God can use whom ever He wills and the fact that He choose her blew me away that morning!

Changing gears, this past weekend we spent at the lake with friends and family celebrating my brother and soon to be sister-in-law's engagement.  Daniel and I know soon we will be moving to a different continent where seeing the ones we love won't be as easy, so we are cherishing our time with them now :)
Here are a few pics from the lake trip...

Ok this is not at the engagement party, but at the beach the week before. Look how cute they are!

And here's the family I love...

We sure do love the beach...

Oh and our sweet Madie is getting bigger everyday...loving life and the mud (please notice the picture). She is crazy but in a good way :)

ok Sam I held up my end of the deal...so it's your turn now =)

until I blog again...
